Can i wash the table cloth in the washing machine?
Yes, you can wash the the tablecloth in the washing machine in the warm setting.
Can I place hot vessels directly on top?
To be avoided.
While the table cloth itself can withstand the heat, it is not an insulator and is unlikely to protect the surface of the table. Always place hot vessels with an insulating coaster / pot-holder.
Will the water resistance decrease over time?
The coated cotton fabric is water-resistant, with ~10% reduction after initial washes. Anti-slip lasts a lifetime. PU/silicone treatments are safe and durable.
Do haldi stains go off completely?
Haldi and pickle oil stains are tough, unlike coffee or ketchup, which wipe off easily. For haldi: wipe immediately, apply baking soda paste for 10 mins, then wipe. Opt for darker prints for less visibility.
Since it’s made of cotton, will it shrink after washing?
Yes, the cover may shrink between 2-5% after washing. It would be prudent to pick a size that gives a 6″-8″ drop at least
Does the colour bleed?
No, the colour does not bleed.
However, as a general practice, it’s recommended to wash it separately

DEALING WITH HALDI STAINS: – Act immediately and wipe carefully to avoid spreading. – Create a paste of baking soda + water or use bleaching detergent, leave for 10 mins, then wipe clean. – Apply hand sanitizer for 10 mins, then soak in vanish before washing; repeat for improved results. – Use Pidilite “Stain Off” followed by soaking in vanish before washing. – Sun-drying aids in stain removal effectiveness.
PRODUCT PERFORMANCE OVER TIME- -Treatments are relatively permanent. The water resistance may reduce by about 10-15% after multiple machine washes, after which it stays unchanged. -Anti-slip remains unaffected. -After 15 washes, there may be some seepage if liquids are left on for too long. -Minimize washes and don’t let liquids settle too long. It is, after all, breathable fabric.
MAINTENANCE TIPS: – Wipe clean spills immediately to prevent stains, especially for Haldi/Curry. – Avoid leaving liquids on the surface for prolonged periods; gradual seepage may occur over time. -The fabric is breathable but may experience reduced water resistance after extensive washing. -Refrain from placing hot vessels directly on the surface; while heat-resistant, it won’t insulate the table effectively.
CARE TIPS: – Watch out for dirt along light-colored edges and wipe them with a wet cloth daily. – Hand/machine wash separately with soap once every 3 weeks for heavy usage. Sundry. – Don’t bleach or dry clean. Up to 5% shrinkage may occur after machine wash. – Creases and puckering can be ironed on a dry cotton setting or left to settle on the table. – Air out occasionally (once a fortnight)
